Pillar of the Caged God sits at the centre of the setup because it gives attributes a job beyond meeting equipment requirements. Around 2,000 Intelligence is a useful target for a polished version, but it shouldn't become an excuse to ignore everything else. A character with huge stats and poor resistances still feels awful.
